Greenpeace activist Paul Ernshaw balances on a tripod blocking the factory gates before being arrested at the Tegal Chicken Plant in Hornby Christchurch today. In an ongoing campaign against the growing and use of Genetically Engineered organisms in the environment, Greenpeace delivered two tonnes of GE free soya beans to the factory to demonstrate that is is possible to source GE free soy. Two activists were arrested as a result of the protest.
